There's so much truth to "dressing for your body type", a truth that I resisted for a long time! But after so many impulse buys and outfits left unworn, I couldn't help but admit to myself that something had to change, I realized that, as an hourglass, I had to stick mostly to classic structures and stay away from the very trendy & busy, that anything too sexy would look too over the top but that however, I had to accentuate my curves, GO FIGURE!
Someone once said that "you have to learn the rules before you break them" and that is my goal.
So the first rule I learned is to show off my small waist, how is that achieved? Simple, BELT IT!
I have chosen 3 LBDs (above) that are not too conventional but work well with the classic Hourglass Figure.
I am no stylist but I know that, experimenting is what makes you know your style best, and once that's done, you can infuse a little personal twist that will make it your own.
